Luckily for you there is still a bit left. I didn't like "The Carpet People", but I do like most of his other early works, 'Bromeliad', 'Johnny Maxwell', 'The Dark side of the Sun', and because of the pre-nostalgic 'Strata'.
I always wonder about how it would have worked out if he had stuck more towards the Sci-Fi end of the spectrum.
Thanks for the tips! I'm currently reading The Folklore of Discworld which is informative from a backgrounding perspective, and plan to read Nation and The Dodger at some point, possibly also Where's My Cow? given its importance to Thud! :)
